📋 Description

• 1Password is currently in search of a seasoned cybersecurity product marketer to assume the role of Senior Manager, Product Marketing. The primary responsibility will involve spearheading the product marketing strategy for our identity and user experience solutions.

• The chosen candidate will contribute to shaping the future landscape of secure authentication, access management, and interaction with credentials and identities for businesses and individuals across various use cases.

• Working under the guidance of the Director of Product Marketing, this individual will be instrumental in defining market positioning, crafting messages, influencing product development, and supporting go-to-market strategies alongside the marketing and sales teams for Enterprise Password Manager (EPM), identity-based access solutions, developer security tools, and end-user experiences.

• This role will be pivotal in advancing and refining 1Password's identity security solutions, ensuring alignment among product, marketing, and sales functions, and aiding business customers and consumers in adopting modern approaches to authentication and access security.

• The successful candidate will lead a growing product marketing team dedicated to providing insights, compelling narratives, and market activation initiatives, all while guiding strategic direction, prioritization, and measurable business achievements in a competitive cybersecurity sector.

• A profound understanding of identity and access security is a must-have for this position, necessitating familiarity with security and IT leadership priorities, workforce authentication, identity-based security frameworks, and access experiences for business, developer, and end users.

• This position offers remote work opportunities and is open to candidates based in the US and Canada.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive Experience: Over 10 years of SaaS enterprise product marketing experience, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity and 3 years in a leadership role.

• Go-to-Market Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in launching and expanding enterprise security products, encompassing expertise in customer research, messaging, packaging, competitive positioning, storytelling, and sales enablement.

• Strategic Leadership: Ability to align go-to-market strategies with evolving customer demands and industry trends.

• Cybersecurity Expertise: In-depth understanding of workforce identity, authentication methods, and emerging threats, coupled with insights into evolving IT and security priorities.

• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the capacity to align and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to captivate internal and external stakeholders through compelling narratives.

• Certifications: While not mandatory, certifications in product marketing (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product Marketing Alliance) and security fundamentals (e.g., Forrester Zero Trust, Security+, etc.) are advantageous.

• Education: Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is beneficial.
