• The Associate Art Director plays a crucial role by bringing industry knowledge, valuable insights, and strategic design/editing skills to our firm and clients. This individual serves as a mentor to designers/editors, offering senior client guidance, overseeing design/editing execution, ensuring visual best practices, quality work, and delivering experiential design/editing insights confidently. Responsibilities also include developing and enhancing the skill set of designers/editors, identifying training opportunities, and managing client relationships, design/editing directions, and project execution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in design/editing and creative field; 5+ years in an ad agency setting preferred
• Strong grasp of creative execution in visual design, branding, and digital landscape, and applying marketing strategy to visual design
• Proficiency in design systems and principles
• Experience in motion graphics editing and understanding of audio and cadence rules
• Ability to lead a team of designers/editors, manage 3+ direct reports effectively, and communicate confidently with team members and clients
• Attention to detail in work, timelines, and client communication, with the flexibility to multitask in an agency environment
• Proficient in various media and graphic design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch, Figma, XD, and more
