• Instrument is a digital product and brand experience agency that operates remotely with a talented team of over 200 individuals, organized into four specialized teams. Each team leverages their expertise to deliver top-notch work, creating transformative experiences for our clients.
• As the Design Director at Instrument, you will be responsible for developing exceptional digital platforms and experiences that stand out.
• This full-time contract position spans from April 16 to June 10 (40 hours/week) and focuses on redesigning a high-profile app for a major sports organization. A passion for sports and insight into fan culture will be valuable in creating work that resonates with the target audience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading teams in product or UX design to deliver outstanding digital experiences
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in app design, interaction, systems thinking, and polished UI
• Background in working within agile or startup environments and driving towards successful product outcomes
• Deep interest in sports and a comprehension of fan behavior, motivation, and engagement
• Ability to collaborate across different disciplines (strategy, development, production) to ensure project progress
• Possess curiosity, bravery, and comfort with experimentation and emerging technologies
