• We are seeking experienced Product Design Directors to join our leadership team and enhance design impact throughout Pleo. In this position, you will oversee product design for a significant business area, guiding strategy, enhancing craftsmanship, and achieving results through exceptional, user-centered design.

• Demonstrated success in leading design initiatives that have had a tangible impact, whether through launching new experiences, revamping key product components, or transforming team dynamics

• Proven ability to mentor senior and staff designers, with a track record of nurturing them into confident leaders in the design field

• Recognized for building high-performing teams that are clear, trusted, and motivated

• Strong intuition for collaborating with product and engineering teams to shape not just the visual aspect but also the purpose behind what is being built

• Practice of basing decisions on genuine customer insights derived from data, narratives, trends, or pain points

• Experience in gaining buy-in from senior stakeholders for complex concepts, particularly when the optimal path is not immediately apparent

• Keen eye for quality and a commitment to raising standards, especially in challenging, fast-paced, or ambiguous situations
