Senior 3D Animator

📋 Description

• Generate top-notch, impactful key-frame animations that align with Directors' requirements and vision

• Develop animation storyboards/vignettes to aid Leads and Directors in making crucial decisions promptly

• Craft custom rigs using Maya and/or UE5 in collaboration with Tech Animators to enhance workflows and tools

• Exhibit proactive behavior to meet project deadlines and deliver prioritized work effectively

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art or Animation

• Successfully launched 1+ AA/AAA Unreal Engine 5 game on Console or PC as a Senior 3D Animator within the last 3 years

• Updated portfolio showcasing exceptional animation skills and solid foundational knowledge

• Proficient in creating and integrating key-frame animations in DCC (Maya/3DS Max/MotionBuilder) into UE5

• Skilled in developing and troubleshooting custom rigs in DCC/UE5 to resolve issues efficiently

• Strong grasp of Kinesiology, body language, gravity, and balance logic

• Experience in crafting behavior trees and animation systems in UE5

• Proficiency in feedback, tracking, and integration tools (Shotgrid, JIRA, and Perforce preferred)

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities for collaboration with fellow animators throughout game development

• Familiarity with new tools, techniques, and technologies influencing animation content creation (preferred)

• Experience in creating cloth and hair simulations (preferred)

• Profound knowledge of animation references from pop culture, animal kingdom, and science (preferred)
