• As a Senior Product Designer for Serve, our consumer white-label ordering platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital ordering process utilized by numerous restaurant brands, thousands of locations, and millions of daily guest interactions.
• Serve drives the ordering procedures for restaurants of various sizes, blending brand flexibility with a seamless and dependable experience for guests.
• You will collaborate closely with a team of designers dedicated to different aspects of the Serve journey, ensuring a unified experience from inception to completion.
• Working alongside product managers and engineers, you will craft intuitive, accessible, and reliable experiences from initial concept to launch, directly influencing how individuals explore, order, and engage with their preferred restaurants online.
• This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from any location within the U.S. or at Olo's headquarters in NYC.
• Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A robust portfolio demonstrating top-tier, user-centric design work and inventive solutions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, showcasing a history of leading successful design projects.
• Proficiency in Figma design; open to candidates with adaptable experience from Sketch or similar design platforms.
• Strong strategic thinking abilities to translate business objectives and user research into engaging design solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across diverse teams and various project levels.
• Extensive knowledge of designing for consumer-facing products to ensure resilient and user-friendly solutions for millions of users.
• Experience in integrating advanced analytics/metrics into the design process, utilizing data to continuously enhance user flows and interfaces.
• Proven capability to design for accessibility on a large scale, with a comprehensive understanding of compliance standards like ADA, WCAG, and Section 508.
• Proficient in ensuring cross-platform consistency to deliver a seamless user journey for broad audiences.
• Comfortable with adapting to rapid iteration cycles and agile environments, ensuring design solutions evolve swiftly alongside product updates.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to mentor junior designers and lead projects to successful outcomes.
• Strong dedication to user-centered design principles, with a history of developing user-friendly and accessible products.
• Preferred but not mandatory: Experience in SaaS B2B environments, demonstrating an understanding of the distinctive challenges and opportunities in business-to-business software solutions.
