• Signal Space Lab is seeking an animator with a solid technical background to lead the animation efforts for their new turn-based tactics IP Every Day We Fight.
• Join a dedicated team, mainly working remotely!
• Create a character/creature animation system from scratch (utilizing Maya / Unreal Engine 4 capabilities).
• Utilize Unreal Engine animation features to enhance our current animation, physics, and AI systems.
• Develop tools and technologies for procedural animation.
• Aid in the creation of interfaces with game systems (AI, character control, etc.).
• Assist in developing tools for gameplay programmers and animators.
• Minimum of 2 years experience focusing on technical animation.
• Proficiency in character rigging using Maya.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 4, Animation State Machines, Montages, and Blueprints.
• Knowledge of IK/FK systems.
• Self-motivated and proactive, comfortable multitasking in a small team environment.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly to colleagues.
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and disciplines.
• Shipped at least one PC or Console title using Unreal Engine.
