Staff Visual Designer

📋 Description

• Analyze, create, and enhance end-to-end user workflows to meet user requirements

• Generate innovative solutions for desktop, web, & mobile applications utilizing modern design techniques in various product development methodologies like Agile frameworks and Phase-Gate approaches

• Produce detailed storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively convey design concepts

• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to integrate business and technical needs into design strategies

• Collaborate with technical leads to finalize design requirements and actively participate in design refinements

• Engage in user testing activities with User Researchers to identify design and usability issues and propose effective solutions

• Supervise assigned design projects, coordinating design tasks with other designers and researchers to ensure the delivery of products that align with business objectives and delight customers

• Lead cross-functional workshops, aligning diverse viewpoints and facilitating problem-solving and ideation sessions

• Champion user-centered design processes, ensuring their integration into all projects under your supervision

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Product UI Design focusing on desktop, web, and mobile product design

• Profound knowledge of all facets of the user-centered design process, methodology, and UI design best practices

• Ability to articulate a cohesive forward-thinking UX strategy that aligns with broader business goals

• Skill in breaking down design tasks and delegating them effectively to other designers and team members

• Proven track record of translating customer insights into comprehensive design requirements and interactive designs

• Proficiency in identifying when to utilize existing design patterns and when an innovative approach is necessary

• Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and embrace teamwork with all members, including product, project, and development team members alongside UX colleagues

• Understanding of the software development process and strong communication skills with software development teams
