• In the role of Technical Animator, you will collaborate with and assist the Animation Team in crafting character, vehicle, weapon rigs, and tools essential for a seamless and imaginative production process.
• Creating/debugging character/prop rigs for diverse projects.
• Executing character skinning or skinning direction.
• Coordinating with character artists and animators to gather rig feedback and pinpoint areas for enhancing animation content creation.
• Collaborating with the technical team for scripting/plugin assistance as required.
• Planning character/animation projects by identifying rigging necessities and their impact on modelling/animation.
• Staying abreast of the latest rigging/animation techniques/workflow and animator productivity.
• Assisting in the development and upkeep of character facial rigs to facilitate facial animation pipelines.
• Participating in and overseeing the integration of animation assets into the game engine.
• Proficiency in Maya & Max is essential.
• Mastery in IK/FK blending, spline controls, expressions, and animator-friendly control setups.
• Expertise in Facial Rigging (Joint based & blendshapes).
• Experience in animation clip & pose library creation/sharing.
• Demonstrate a passion for animation, possess organizational skills, and excel as a team player.
• Outstanding communication skills and resourcefulness in problem-solving.
• Proficient in Blender.
• Familiarity with MotionBuilder and Houdini KineFX.
• Background in animation.
• Proficiency in English (Written and/or spoken).
• Experience with game engines like Unreal, Unity, etc.
