• Partner with Product Management and Engineering in mold to embed design in every step of the product journey.

• Own user research program and design system, championing design thinking across the lifecycle.

• Mentor and support team in tackling complex challenges while maintaining a balance of hands-on design work and strategic direction.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading product design teams, with a proven track record and a portfolio that showcases impactful, user-centered software products.

• A strong grasp of design fundamentals, systems thinking, usability, and interaction design. You drive measurable outcomes through design and are fluent in leveraging various design systems and tools (e.g. Figma).

• A deep understanding of the modern software developers world, including the tools they use, their workflows, and the challenges they face, enabling you to design solutions that genuinely support their needs.

• Proven experience mentoring and growing design teams. You foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and collaboration, and advocate for design through clear storytelling and influence at all levels.

• Ability to thrive in remote, globally distributed teams. You bring others along, align across disciplines, and build momentum around shared goals.

• You approach problems from multiple angles, designing inclusive solutions that reflect a wide range of user needs and experiences.

• Continuously seeks opportunities to refine workflows, improve efficiency, and elevate the design practice as a whole.
