Interior Design Manager

📋 Description

• The Interior Design Manager (IDM) will be responsible for managing all aspects of the interiors of all new FBO projects.

• The IDM will oversee all aesthetic aspects of the guest experience within the FBO.

• The IDM will support the C&I team by performing various duties and initiatives.

• Duties include but are not limited to developing a standard interior design strategy to be applied across the portfolio, coordinating with architectural consultants in specifying furnishings and equipment that support the established strategy, managing architects in the design phase to develop project requirements, and schematic interior designs within approved budgets and preparing bid documents and negotiating contracts with vendors and establishing national contracts when possible—standardizing specifications when possible—updating stakeholders on the design and installation status, conducting routine site visits to review progress, and facilitating efforts for successful project closeout.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or similar is required

• Advanced certification (NCARB, NCIDQ, LEED AP) is a plus.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Interior Design, Construction Management. Specific aviation or hospitality experience is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills

• Related technical experience may be considered in place of education requirements

• Understanding of Project Management, Procurement, Risk/Insurance, and Accounts Payable functions

• Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, team members, and suppliers in a professional manner

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite

• Superior time management skills

• Excellent leadership skills

• Experience in REVIT, Enscape, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and CAD.

• Experience with Microsoft Project and/or PM Web or similar PMIS applications.

• Ability to work autonomously while providing oversight and updates to leadership

• The job will require 50% travel and a valid driver's license
