Product Design Lead

📋 Description

• Advocates for a user-centered approach to product development and designs accordingly.

• Partners closely with product management and engineering throughout the product and feature design and development process.

• Collaborates closely with various stakeholders to ensure teams have a solid grasp of the customer definition and competitive landscape before moving into design.

• May support the creation of UX deliverables prepared by UX researchers to improve the customer experience across the entire lifecycle of our portfolio.

• Is responsible for the execution of the requirements through design methods and deliverables such as flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs.

• Looks out for ease of use, quality, and accessibility in product solutions.

• Conducts workshops and cross-functional design sessions to draw out the best thinking from the team.

• Tests concepts and prototypes to refine with user feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors + 5 years of related experience

• Executes design tasks for a specific set of features for a defined product.

• Creates usable designs, concepts, and prototypes and coordinates the development of design resources such as content templates, samples, and guidelines

• Validates concepts with end user and drafts enhancement.

• Demonstrates proficient knowledge in one or more domains (e.g., network, security)

• Collaborates cross-functionally to identify user problems and recommends methods to gain customer insights

• Facilitates requirements sessions with engineers to gather design specifications.

• Applies user-centered methodologies and research in product design.

• Delivers and defends customercentered design presentations to internal users and team members.
