Director of User Experience Engineering

📋 Description

• Take on overall responsibility for user experience and development of user facing applications.

• Manage a team of front-end developers and expand it to include UX design and QA.

• Lead the front-end software architecture decisions to ensure fast feature delivery as we grow.

• Work on the full development life cycle of time sensitive projects.

• Design and build new functionalities.

• Design user interfaces and user experience.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks on large projects that are image centric.

• Experience with video a plus.

• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).

• Exceptional talent in UX Design.

• Solid computer science foundation and understanding of underlying web environment and protocols.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders.

• Experience leading a small or medium team, or a desire to lead.

• 5+ years in a Front-End Development role.

• Ability to work efficiently and independently.

• UX Design experience a plus.
