Senior UX/UI Designer

📋 Description

• TechnologyAdvice is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our growing team!

• As a member of the Product Team, your responsibilities will support the product development process, including gathering and analyzing insights from stakeholders, making decisions on how to improve our products from a design and user experience perspective, collaborating with business and engineering teams to define and execute against our product vision, and driving company initiatives forward.

• In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional product team supporting the growth and development of our audience across 30+ owned and operated websites, and providing best-in-class customer experiences in our proprietary software and platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.

• 4+ years of professional UX experience with a strong portfolio of user-centered projects.

• Extensive knowledge of user research methods, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas clearly and persuasively.

• Experience with prototyping and design software such as Figma or equivalent.

• Experience in balancing user experience with business needs and technical feasibility.

• A curious, flexible, can-do attitude and empathetic mindset.

• Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.

• Familiarity with the publishing industry, Content Management Systems (CMS), cross-device and responsive design best practices, web accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices is preferred.

• Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) techniques and knowledge of branding, color theory, and typography is preferred.
