Principal Product Designer - Senior

📋 Description

• We're looking for an entrepreneurial product designer to join our small and wildly talented team.

• You’ll work on a variety of projects, both for internal and external customers.

• We build products that help firefighters protect lives and our forests and support customers across multiple industries (utilities, forestry, renewables, etc) to protect their assets and keep their employees and customers safe.

• You will work in collaboration with engineering, product, customer success, and operations to develop products and processes in a stable, scalable, and cost-efficient way.

• As we grow you’ll also have the opportunity to help us scale and nurture the design function at Pano.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience researching, designing, and shipping software products/features.

• A strong portfolio showcasing the way you think and work.

• Self-motivated with an ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous work.

• Humility, empathy, and open-mindedness - no egos.

• Nice to have experience working in an early-stage startup (<100 engineers).

• Nice to have experience building AI products, complex UX workflows, and/or enterprise software.

• Nice to have experience working on observability, mapping, monitoring, and/or alerting products.

• Nice to have previous experience working as a firefighter or at least passion for climate change adaptation and/or firefighting.
