📋 Description
• Supervise projects for several brands simultaneously, delegating tasks appropriately throughout the department
• Direct internal and external stakeholders on creative recommendations as a subject matter expert
• Provide creative direction based on performance data, industry best practices and current trends, keeping client goals in mind.
• Assist in new sales pitches and proposals - presenting ideas and concepts to clients when necessary
• Ensure processes are run efficiently throughout the department - initiating new, and optimizing existing processes and workflows
• Manage multiple creative team members as direct and indirect reports
• Mentor and actively train all designers so that they can achieve their career goals
• Proactively identify and resolve issues throughout the department and assist in doing so throughout the business
• Be a strategic thought leader and assist the business in discovering new ideas and opportunities, especially in the ad tech space.
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of Art or Creative Direction experience, with 5+ years managing teams with direct reports
• Concepting, video editing, and storyboarding experience required
• Experience providing direction on visual, creative, motion, video editing, animation, interactive content, UI/UX, and strategy for digital advertising/performance/growth marketing including the ability to articulate creative concepts and rational for client and team
• Experience creating and managing departmental budgets
• Advanced project and resource management experience
• Understanding in designing for mobile digital advertising platforms.
• Mentoring and coaching.
• Rigorous attention to detail.
