📋 Description
• Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
• This is a 14 month fixed-term maternity cover contract, with potential opportunities for transitioning to permanent for the right fit.

• This will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
• Work on the creative development of Canva's global campaigns, ensuring they align with our brand strategy and business objectives
• Act as a lead and coach to creative team members (currently of about 1-2)
• Inspire and mentor a talented team of designers, copywriters, and other creatives, fostering a culture of innovation and craft excellence
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Brand Marketing, Product, and Leadership to develop integrated, multi-channel campaigns
• Drive the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness
• Leverage data and consumer insights to inform creative decisions and optimize campaign performance
• Innovate in how we showcase our product and celebrate our community through compelling storytelling
• Establish and maintain creative best practices, elevating the overall quality of work across the Campaigns Team
• Present and articulate creative concepts to senior stakeholders, building consensus and driving decision-making
• Partner with our Executive Creative Director & Creative Directors to develop craft initiatives for the team, to help grow their skills.
• Direct meaningful content including; animations, videos and graphic images for multiple media touch points
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of experience delivering global campaigns across TV, digital, social media, OOH, and more.
• A strong design/ art direction background
• An outstanding portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, art direction, and design expertise.
• A proven track record of executing successful multi-channel campaigns with measurable impact.
• Strong leadership skills with a history of nurturing creative talent and building high-performing teams.
• Deep familiarity with design tools, emerging creative technologies, and a solid understanding of digital and product design.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to inspire and align stakeholders at all levels.
• A passion for empowering creativity and visual communication.
• An understanding that spans digital design, product design and Figma is key to this to help ensure sure that your vision is fully realised
• Comfortable a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment that requires the ability to problem solve, drive chaos to clarity, and maintain personal resilience
