Senior Product Designer - Retail

📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Designer, you will partner with cross-functional teams across user experience, product management, engineering, and business operations to develop innovative health and wellness experiences.

• Drive ideas from Discovery through Delivery, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and quality at every stage.

• Design solutions that help customers make informed decisions about their health.

• Own the design process for wireframes, user flows, process flows, site maps, interactions, and high-fidelity prototypes for medium to large features in your product area.

• Partner with your team to ensure alignment and consistency in design and user experience quality across initiatives.

• Leverage and evolve the design system to maintain consistency across products while contributing new guidelines and patterns when needed.

• Present and advocate for design ideas, collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance customer and business needs.

• Ensure design solutions are informed by customer research, continuously identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.

• Oversee multiple design deliverables, communicate progress with your team, and mitigate risks to ensure on-time delivery.

• Participate in user research activities and apply insights to evolve design solutions.

• Proactively identify high-level issues and opportunities to ensure shipped experiences match design expectations.

• Promote design thinking practices within your team and across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field.

• 3+ years designing for large-scale desktop, mobile web, and mobile app consumer experiences.

• A strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking process and end-to-end project work from discovery to delivery.

• Expert-level skills in Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design tools.

• Experience designing with WCAG accessibility standards in mind.

• Familiarity with Agile software development practices and working within cross-functional teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting concepts and collaborating across teams.

• Experience working with and contributing to design systems for consistency across platforms.

• Strong understanding of product development processes and how to address challenges across platforms.

• Proficiency in using data analytics and insights to drive design decisions.

• Advanced understanding of usability and user-centered design processes.

• Experience iterating and optimizing experiences using research and data.
