• Popmenu is seeking an enthusiastic Web Designer who is as dedicated to crafting compelling and impactful web designs as they are to portraying a small business's narrative and identity to visitors through its website.
• Our Web Designer is responsible for meticulously configuring client websites mainly using controls in our proprietary SaaS application, along with some light HTML & CSS work, particularly for enterprise accounts.
• You will be in charge of maintaining clear and effective communication with our onboarding team to relay back to the client.
• Meeting a design objective each month is an expectation for this role.
• Some clients may lack graphics, so it is crucial that you can adapt our existing library or the client's limited branding to suit their website.
• Our Web Designer possesses the ability to transform these elements into visually appealing designs with minimal guidance.
• Additionally, our Web Designer is accountable for enriching our collection of design concepts and is adept at engaging in design discussions with team members, offering guidance to other designers, and providing support as needed to address queries or requests from team members or contracted designers.
• A discerning eye for web design and a portfolio showcasing creative and original work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Chrome DevTools, and image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication abilities to collaborate closely with onboarding and support managers in setting priorities and conveying design challenges to clients.
• Familiarity with web accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness to ensure user-friendly features across all devices.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
