We're looking for a talented designer who can take the lead in creating modern and seamless website designs while also handling branding and graphic design.
Responsibilities:
Website Design
- Lead the design of intuitive and engaging websites and web based applications.
- Conduct user research, including interviews and usability tests, to inform design decisions.
- Apply a systematic approach to create high-quality, functional, and scalable designs.
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless design implementation.
- Stay updated on modern design trends and best practices.
Graphic Design
- Design branding assets such as logos, marketing materials, and sales sheets.
- Recommend fonts, color palettes, and other graphic elements using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Create infographics for websites and marketing purposes.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for print materials.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in web & graphic design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX/UI design experience.
- Proficiency in designing modern websites.
- Familiarity with front-end web development principles.
- Strong skills in graphic design using Adobe, figma, Canva products.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to create greater efficiency in the design process.
Nice to Have:
- Experience conducting user interviews and usability testing.
- Prior experience working with external development teams.
- Experience in the following industries: Telecom, SAAS products, Apparel and Ecommerce, Home Services, AI.
- Experience with Wordpress / Elementor.
💻 Full Time Remote Contract (Avg. 7 hours per day) | 🌎 Open to global candidates
Timezone: EST (Our HQ is in Toronto, ON)
Pay: CAD $1200 to $2000 per month Retainer.
