Senior Designer

📋 Description

• The Sr. Designer at Harbor Health will play a crucial role in shaping our experiences for stakeholders (including consumers, providers, brokers, and employers) through innovative design solutions.

• This position will lead the visual direction of our brand across digital and print platforms, ensuring consistency and excellence in how we communicate with our members and partners.

• The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on design execution to support Harbor Health's mission of transforming healthcare in Austin.

• Lead the design process from concept to execution across multiple projects, including digital platforms, marketing materials, and member communications.

• Enhance and maintain Harbor Health's visual brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints while evolving the brand as the organization grows.

• Create user-centered designs for digital products and services that enhance stakeholder experiences and support our innovative healthcare delivery model.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and clinical teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.

• Mentor junior designers and provide art direction while fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design, with a proven track record of delivering successful design solutions

• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user interface design, visual design, and brand development

• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and experience with design systems

• Experience in healthcare or related industries preferred, with an understanding of designing for diverse user needs

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to various stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
