Designer - Studio

📋 Description

• Domaine is looking for a motivated team member with a passion for web design and eCommerce to join our Domaine Studio team.

• The Designer (Domaine Studio) works under the direction of a Design Director across the end-to-end design process, from creative concepting to dev-ready design specs.

• Designers at Domaine Studio work collaboratively with subject matter experts across technology, UX and project management and are expected to continually develop their creative craft, eCommerce expertise and UX best practices.

• They are expected to communicate their work clearly and with authority to clients and within the internal team.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging client interactions independently

• Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal oversight

• Strong design portfolio, with relevant examples of eCommerce design experience

• Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement, both personally and within the team

• Reliable and reassuring partner in collaboration, with a strong focus on team success and client satisfaction

• Advanced understanding of Figma, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

• Experience working within a Design team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Experience presenting creative work directly to clients

• 2-3 years of experience working in web design, eCommerce preferably

• Strong organizational and problem solving skills

• Proficient in writing design handoff documentation

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Ability to clearly articulate design thinking to other team members and clients

• Manages own work on a weekly basis

• Consistently delivers high-quality material on time
