UI/UX Designer

📋 Description

• We seek a talented UX/UI Designer to join a growing team of designers, researchers, and writers supporting clients in federal government.

• You will have the opportunity to design products that are simple, intuitive, and satisfying.

• As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate with product owners and researchers to discover and define product opportunities and then deliver solutions through iterative prototyping and testing.

• You will take designs from concepts and wireframes through high fidelity mockups and functional prototypes.

• You will generate ideas and explore possibilities, incorporating feedback, securing stakeholder buy-in, and working with development to ensure end products successfully implement designs that meet your users’ expectations.

• This position will be embedded in one of our projects in the federal healthcare IT industry.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in design, human computer interaction or related field)

• 3+ years of applied UX design experience in the software industry.

• Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the U.S., and work must be performed in the US.

• Candidate must have resided in the U.S. 3 of the last 5 years.

• Candidate must be eligible for public trust.

• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level AA / Section 508 compliance preferred.

• 10+ years of overall professional experience preferred.

• Experience in federal contracting or healthcare IT preferred.

• Active or past clearance to work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or the US Department of Health and Human Services.
