Staff Product Designer

📋 Description

• The International Team in Coinbase is tasked with expanding the presence and reach of Coinbase products to countries across the globe.

• As a close partner to Product and Engineering, Coinbase Design team plays a critical role in executing on the company vision.

• You'll help design our flagship products for the largest user base in crypto and define user experiences for entirely new features that the ecosystem has not seen before.

• You’ll design the following as a part of your role: Product Improvements, Marketing, Market research / Analysis, and Legal / Regulatory.

• Partner strategically with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to drive team strategy, product decisions, and roadmap priorities.

• Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production.

• Provide mentorship and design feedback to other design team members.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of Product Design experience

• Exemplary product thinking abilities, solutions oriented, and capable of working autonomously

• Proven track record of working within a product team to ship successful products to users

• Sharp attention to detail and mastery over your craft: visual design, interaction design, and prototyping

• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management experience

• Thrives in fast-paced (sometimes ambiguous) environment

• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools

• Low ego, loves to collaborate, and open minded

• Interest in crypto and/or financial products

• Nice to haves:

• Experience in consumer fintech

• Experience in designing for multiple international markets

• Experience in designing customer service support UX

• 0 to 1 experience with new product launches - at startup or internal venture bet
