📋 Description
• We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX Designer to join our dynamic design team.
• As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating seamless, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences.
• You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to transform user needs into intuitive interfaces, enhancing the overall user experience.

• You’ll form strong relationships with product managers and designers and can expect to partner regularly with engineers and leaders beyond your immediate team.

• As a UX Designer you will Contribute to overall strategy, ideas and decision-making about product direction.
• Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, design, and research peers.
• Build strong personal connections with your teammates and help shape IFS’s culture.
• Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Design and ship high-quality product improvements.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience crafting user experiences across content, design, or engineering disciplines
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies and the ability to incorporate user feedback into design iterations
• An eye for high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design, with a passion for detail
• An understanding of design systems and design documentation
• Experience working independently, exploring concepts from beginning to end
• Proven ability to design simple solutions to solve complex user problems
• Experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams and overlapping organizational lines
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping to communicate nuanced design decisions
• Solid understanding of core design principles — information hierarchy, layout, spacing, typography, colour, accessibility and usability
• Hands-on expertise with Figma and other common design tools, with the ability to mentor and guide design teams
• Ability to create user flows and wireframes for new features
• Ability to implement user feedback into designs and product features
• Advocate for design thinking within the product team and the broader organisation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
• While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
• Knowledge about using Jira and agile scrum processes
• Experience mentoring junior or early career designers
• Good understanding of front-end development and collaborating with engineering
• Experience designing for multiple screens/devices (responsive design) and ensuring cross-browser compatibility
• Skilled in performing user testing (usability tests, A/B tests, analytics) and applying insights to design iterations
