📋 Description
• Collaborate with Directors of Curriculum and academic module leads to design learning experiences across all programmes.
• Use established learning design frameworks to support curriculum development and create tailored learning activities.
• Assist with the design of formative and summative assessments, ensuring all content is engaging and constructively aligned.
• Apply user experience (UX) principles to create learning journeys that connect academic theory with workplace application.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience in learning design for online education
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and active learning methodologies
• Experience designing live learning activities
• Ability to interpret and act on learner feedback and performance data
• Experience with multimedia content creation
• Experience creating engaging digital learning content using authoring tools
• Experience with virtual learning environments and digital learning tools
• Strong project management, collaboration and organisational skills
• Advance HE Fellowship (or willingness to undertake)
• PGCHE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience in apprenticeship or work-based learning
• Understanding of UK higher education sector frameworks
• Knowledge of apprenticeship Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs)
• Expertise in learning analytics and data-informed design
• Experience in assessment design and quality assurance processes
• Experience of using AI for learning design
• Understanding of OfS regulatory framework and QAA quality baseline as they relate to online learning experiences
