📋 Description

• Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA) is the only national organization that supports every part of the child care system.

• The Graphic Designer serves as CCAoA’s principal visual storyteller, creating compelling and high-quality designs that amplify the voice of child care across membership, events, research, products, partnerships, and advocacy efforts.

• This role requires a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, someone who can move quickly from concept to execution while maintaining creativity, consistency, and brand integrity.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital ads, infographics, multimedia, social media assets, print collateral, and branding projects.

• This role requires the ability to navigate varying levels of direction, sometimes receiving detailed guidance, other times little to none, and translating that into high-quality, brand-aligned designs.

• Quickly iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback, demonstrating adaptability and a solutions-oriented mindset.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a professional graphic design role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work across digital and print.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is required.

• Experience with motion graphics, video editing, and multimedia design is a strong plus.

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment without compromising quality.

• Experience implementing and maintaining brand guidelines across various platforms.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with marketing platforms such as HubSpot is a plus.

• Comfortable taking feedback and iterating rapidly to meet stakeholder needs.

• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for design integration.

• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring polished and professional outputs.

• Ability to work remotely with little daily oversight.
