📋 Description
• The UX/UI Research Manager is an individual contributor that will leverage their qualitative and quantitative UX/UI research experience to provide answers to challenging and often unexplored questions about a product’s design.
• This is done by conducting several types of research, partnering with cross-functional teams, and assisting the entire user experience (UX) team in ensuring that the consumer has an experience with a product that is fun, intuitive, accessible, and joyful.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics to better understand a product’s design effectiveness.
• Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.
• Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
• Perform usability studies with consumers applying techniques like Card sorting, Usability testing, User interviews, Diary studies, First click testing, etc.
• Participate in cross-functional user experience meetings to gather context, share perspective and recommendations based on research findings.
• Ask questions, gather data, and analyze data to improve the current design and/or test design prototypes.
• Use a diverse set of UX research tools based on research need and business context.
🎯 Requirements
• Four or more years of solid UX research experience with 6-8 years of overall experience in research or UX
• Experience in conducting user testing research as part of UX/UI evolution and design and working with a platform/specialist to establish the use of UX testing in the company
• Proven expertise in working closely with UX/UI design teams on digital experience roadmaps
• Very good understanding of MR project lifecycle starting from problem definition to sampling, questionnaire design, data preparation and transformation, analyses and presentation writing and delivery
• Exposure to advanced Excel, online survey management tools, data visualization
• Graduate degree in Business Management / Statistics / Economics / Marketing / Design / Psychology
• Financial industry experience is a plus- especially in wealth management space
• Strong communication skills, empathy, design thinking, problem solving, curiosity, collaboration
• Effective presentation and story boarding skills with exposure to executive level presentations
