Mobalytics

Senior Product Designer

at

Mobalytics

Job description

The Mobalytics mission is to create the ultimate gaming companion, providing powerful tools that enable all players to step up their game and be their best selves. We need razor-sharp, experienced, and responsible professionals who can help us grow and evolve from a small, adventurous party into a disciplined raid team that can conquer any challenge.

As a Product Designer, you will be the driving force that connects our game expertise and engineering excellence through visual language and problem-solving skills, inspiring our players to feel like they are using a truly impactful tool. We believe that to create something so powerful for the player's journey, you must love the game and share that same journey with the players. In our adventuring party, there is no doubt that you are the wizard. Without your magic nothing we do is possible.

Job requirements

Senior Product Designer Requirements:

  • We want you to be an independent problem solver. As a small team, we believe each individual greatly impacts what we do. That being said, it is important to us that you can independently spot and solve problems, make informed decisions, and take responsibility for them, even if they are outside the canvas you are working on.
  • You should be able to craft complex yet elegant interfaces. For us, it’s both how it works and how it looks. Think through all the interactions, flows, and minute details, and then make sure the end result looks as good as it did on your drawing board (at Mobalytics, we primarily use Figma).
  • We want you to be the best partner of the engineering team. You should be able to understand the technologies we use, technical limitations and opportunity costs when designing new and improving existing features.
  • You should be able to take broad concepts or ideas and turn them into valuable features through data analysis. Understand business needs, data insights, user reports and feedback and connect them with design decisions that can be articulated in individual or group settings. Partner with product managers, data scientists and game experts to oversee the user experience of a product from concept to launch — and then continue to improve it. Together.
  • You should be experienced in designing cohesive systems. When we are building something, even the smallest thing, we always ask ourselves “How will this affect the whole product?.” Your responsibility is to treat each new feature or improvement as a part of the system, always thinking two steps ahead and making sure the bigger picture stays crystal clear.
  • You should have a gaming experience and some achievements in games. Obviously, we love games. And we hope so do you. No, we don’t care if you are Bronze or Diamond, farming frags or building a virtual farm. What we do care about is that you understand the nature of our players and are one of them.

What we offer:

  • Fully Remote Job - we've been a remote company from day one.
  • Flexible working hours - except for scheduled meetings, we don’t have a working schedule or the required amount of working hours. Mobalytics is not about time spent on achieving results but about results themselves.
  • $2,000 Home Office Budget after a trial period.
  • Salary paid in USD, no matter where you are in the world.

If you love games and have a strong desire to create beautiful and intelligent products for passionate communities of gamers, this is the place for you. We really want to help players be their best selves when playing with others around the world, and you should join us and help create that environment.
