We're seeking experienced Senior Product Designers to design complex and high-density user interfaces for IconScout, a design resources marketplace with over 9.5 million assets from 1600+ contributors. You'll focus on user experience, think in systems, and make strategic decisions based on customer feedback. You'll lead exciting projects from research to design implementation.
Your role and responsibilities are focused on the following:
As a Senior Product Designer, you aim to enhance IconScout's design, functionality, and performance for optimal marketplace user experience and conversion.
- Owning and familiar with marketplace business models and corresponding user journeys, with extreme attention and sensitivity to user experience.
- Identify and drive opportunities across the marketplace informed by user and business insights.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to understand constraints and provide creative solutions.
- Deeply understand and own product features by collaborating with stakeholders like IconScout’s Product Leads, Designers, and Engineers.
- Translate complex early-stage technologies into intuitive and compelling solutions.
- Work across the design stack: spec projects, conduct user research, usability and A/B testing, design workflows, prototype, create pixel-perfect designs, and ensure high-quality implementation with engineers.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to launch product campaigns.
- Work with the SEO Manager to improve and maintain search engine ranking.
- Evolve marketplace visual and brand design with the Lottie Studio team.
- Stay updated with trends and research to enhance user experience.
Required professional and technical expertise:
- 6+ years of product design experience, including leading and owning the end-to-end design process for complex interaction designs.
- Exceptional craft, attention to detail, and understanding of small nuances create a seamless, intuitive design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams (engineers, product managers, designers).
- Actively seek and provide feedback to improve the marketplace.
- Experience applying and extending design systems and establishing design principles and practices to empower team members.
- Ability to share work early and often, clearly articulating objectives and ideas.
- Proficiency in modern tools (Slack, Figma, Framer, Linear, Pitch, Notion).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
